Wow that sounds like A LOT of reading to do over the summer, so let's break it down a little bit. We have three reading records for you to complete during the summer. Each record asks you to read either 5 books or for 6 hours in order for you to complete it. The reading records build on each other so you will need to complete Level 1 before you may start Level two.
This year the time periods run:
Level 1 Rookies: June 9 to July 28
Level 2 Patrol Officer: June 25 to July 28
Level 3 Detective: July 16 to 28

So what's in it for me?

For each level you complete and return the record to the library ,you will earn a small bag of souvenirs. But that's not all. After you complete Level 2 you will be invited to a special, invitation-only party that takes place after the reading club is completed.
Complete level 3 and your name will be entered into the drawing for three special prizes. (In past years we've given out American Girls dolls, robotic dinosaurs and a tent so you never know What could be next!)

But I can't Make it to the library on June 9th!

Not a problem, you can come into the library to sign up for the Summer Library Club until July 21 or if you would like to get started right away, simply download the first reading record by clicking the link below. When you finish the record bring it into the library and recieve your treats.
