Items checked out from Beloit Public Library may be renewed three times.
Except for the following items which cannot be renewed:
Titles on hold for someone else, Inter-library Loan items, Vagabond Bears, and
Playaways.
Renewals can be done one of three ways: by visiting the library and having your item renewed at the checkout desk, by calling the
checkout desk at (608) 364-2911 during the normal business hours listed above, or by following
this link to your library account. In order to use the Internet to renew library materials, you need have your library card number and a PIN number. you can create a PIN
number by following the directions found here
After you have renewed your item online, please make sure to check your account and confirm that the due date has
changed.
Your items will renew from the day you renew them not from the day they are due.
Overdue items cannot be renewed either by phone or by Internet. These items must be brought to the checkout desk during business hours
and checked out again. If your card has $5.00 or more in fines you will need to make a payment that reduces your fine to less than $5.00 in
order to check the books out a second time.
