Fines

Fines are paid at the Circulation Desk and are charged for each day we are open.  Maximum fines are $5.00 per item with no overall maximum fine limit per card.  Your card may not be used when fines reach a total of $10.01 or more.

• All feature movies and Vagabond bears are $1.00 per day.
• All other JUV items are $.20 per day.
• All other Adult and YA are $.20 per day.
• Items from other ALS library vary.
• Interlibrary loan materials are $1.00 per day.

 Fines can be paid at any of the ALS libraries unless the accounts have been sent to collection or Municipal Court.

 Overdue Notices

Currently three overdue notices are sent out beginning with the second week that items are overdue and then every two weeks.  At the third and final notice accounts are subject to Municipal Court citations or collection agency intervention.
